Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Emily, and I’m a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula as well as a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator through Childbirth Professionals International and Lamaze International.

I believe that every individual and their family deserves unwavering support through one of life’s most profound experiences—pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. My goal is to provide evidence-based education, compassionate care, and a reassuring presence so you feel informed, empowered, and truly supported every step of the way.

The name Parade Birth Services LLC is inspired by elephants—because a group of elephants walking together is called a parade. I’m deeply moved by the way elephants instinctively form a protective circle around their birthing mothers, offering strength, security, and solidarity.

At Parade Birth Services, that’s the kind of support I strive to provide—steadfast, nurturing, and grounded in trust.

You don’t have to do this alone. Let’s build your circle together.

Welcome to the Parade.

Our Services

Lamaze Childbirth Education

Lamaze Childbirth Education is a comprehensive class designed to support and empower expectant families. At its core are three key pillars: evidence-based information, respect for all families, and the understanding that pregnancy and birth are lifelong, transformative experiences. Our classes provide the knowledge and confidence you need to navigate childbirth with clarity and strength.

Birth Doula Service

A birth doula is a trained professional who educates, supports, empowers, and advocates for birthing individuals and their families throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth.

Great news—Michigan Medicaid now covers doula services. If you don’t have insurance, or if your current plan doesn’t include doula care, private pay options are available.

Pricing:

$100 per Pre-natal Visit

Postpartum Doula Service

A postpartum doula provides non-medical support to families after the birth of a baby, offering emotional guidance, physical support, newborn care education, and help with daily tasks during the early weeks at home. Their goal is to nurture the whole family as they adjust to life with a new baby, promoting rest, confidence, and a smooth transition. Ask about pricing.
